REMRAD

REMRAD is a two-way radio telemetry system that provides an efficient and knowledge-based response in case of emergency or security situations on your premises. This locally developed system offers a 24/7 connection to your local Fire/Emergency Services or participating security companies.

Key features of REMRAD include:

  1. Automatic Alarm Transmission:

    • The system automatically transmits alarm conditions to the monitoring center.

    • Operators can see the location of the premises and the type of incident in progress.

  2. Desktop Telecommunications Unit (DTU):

    • Allows manual operation by pressing appropriate buttons (e.g., FIRE or AMBULANCE) in the absence of a fire panel.

  3. Quick Communication and Fast Response:

    • The advanced design ensures quick communication between REMRAD and the monitoring center.

    • Enables fast response times to emergencies.

  4. Radio-Based Communication:

    • The system uses radio-based communication between the Central Control Unit (CCU) and the Telecommunications Control Unit (TCU).

    • Provides greater reliability, lower costs, and high-speed communications.

  5. Daily Automatic Polling and System Testing:

    • The base station automatically polls the unit on a daily basis to ensure proper functioning.

    • Clients can test the system at any time by pressing the SYSTEM button on the DTU.

  6. Technical Specifications:

    • Robust steel wall-mounted CCU enclosure.
    • Backup power supply with a 12-volt, 15-amp/hour battery.
    • Lightning protection for all connections.
    • TCU allows connection of a DTU, 8 contact-type inputs from Fire Alarm Panel, RS232 asynchronous computer terminal port, and a two-way transceiver.
    • Ensures a range of up to 30km.

  7. System Options:

    • 8/24 Way Output Units for environmental systems shut-off.

    • Up to 64 Way Input Units for interfacing with large fire alarm panels.

In summary, REMRAD provides a reliable and efficient way to ensure prompt responses to emergency and security situations on your premises. It offers automatic alarm transmission, manual operation options, quick communication, and system testing capabilities, making it a comprehensive solution for emergency and security needs.
